The gaming community has been anticipating the release of the Playstation Move for quite some time. Nintendo Wii had pioneered this technology, but the Move will take the art of motion sensing gaming to a new level. There are a lot of new games for Playstation Move as well as existing ones that will work with the technology.

In conjunction with the USB Playstation Eye Camera, the Move will be able to better track movement of the player making the game play more realistic and responsive. With HD capabilities and the right television set, this promises to be a gaming experience like nothing seen before. The controllers used advanced motion sensing software, so response time is quicker and more realistic. Vibration in the controller aids in this as well. The lighted orb also provides visual stimulation as well based on what is happening in the game itself.

Although this is a new product with all new technology, you do not have to go out and specifically purchase all new games. Existing ones in all different genres will work with the Motion. Games such as Resident Evil 5, Tiger Woods PGA Tour 11, and Toy Story 3 are all compatible. Games such as Hustle Kings, High Velocity Bowling, and Flower are also supported. Usually, all that is required is a patch to make it work properly. These are usually available from the game manufacturer and are easy to install.

New games that are released are now planning to be compatible as well. These will not require any sort of additional patch to work with the Move. Brunswick Pro Bowling, Flight Control HD, Heroes on the Move, and Deadliest Catch: Sea of Chaos are all new games that will be compatible right out of the box.
